AMD Chips May Cost Ten Percent More by Late Year Due to Foundry Price Jumps

Advanced Micro Devices is reportedly planning to raise prices across its entire product lineup by ten percent in the fourth quarter. This upcoming price increase affects graphics processing units, chipsets, and potentially central processing units as well. The move comes as a direct result of manufacturing partner TSMC increasing its foundry prices. These higher production costs at the foundry level are now rippling downstream to everyday tech hardware buyers and system builders.
