Shares of Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Limited jumped nearly 10% on Friday, September 18, following a large block transaction on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The sharp price jump in the Wadia Group flagship stock happened after 2.62% of the total company equity was traded through block deals. The trade involved 18.3 lakh shares and was done at an average price of ₹1,360 for each share. The total value of this block deal reached ₹249 crore, drawing strong investor attention to the counter.
