Award-Winning British Rap Artist Sway DaSafo Passes Away at 44 in Ghana

Award-winning British-Ghanaian rap artist Sway DaSafo has died at the age of 44. He passed away at his home in Ghana, according to his friend Kash Ahmad, who confirmed the news to the BBC after it was first shared online by the Mobo organisation. Sway made history in 2006 by becoming the first unsigned rapper to win a Mobo Award, and later scored a top 10 hit in 2012 with his single Level Up. His other well-known tracks included Still Speedin'. No cause of death has been announced.
