Investor to sell 1.7 percent stake in Lenskart for over two thousand crore rupees

Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust plans to sell a 1.7 percent stake in eyewear company Lenskart Solutions through a block deal worth 2,047.4 crore rupees. The investment vehicle is backed by ADIA. The shares are priced at 682.45 rupees each, which is a 3.5 percent discount from the last closing price of 707.20 rupees on Friday. Financial firm Morgan Stanley is helping manage the transaction as the broker. After this sale, the trust will face a 90-day lock-in period where it cannot sell any more shares.
