Axis Bank Results

In related banking sector updates, Axis Bank also posted strong results with a 38 percent surge in net profit for the September quarter, driven by solid loan demand and better asset quality. Context

Commercial banks track net interest income and non-interest earnings as key metrics to measure core lending health and fee-based revenue. Lower bad loan ratios show that lenders are successfully recovering money and managing credit risks across retail and corporate portfolios.
