Trump blocks CNN, Politico and MS NOW journalists from White House entry

President Donald Trump barred reporters from CNN, Politico and MS NOW from entering the White House on Saturday. A reporter and a photographer representing MS NOW tried to reach the building, but their press passes did not register and an officer took them away. CNN and Politico said their correspondents faced the same denial and also had their credentials seized. Trump announced the ban earlier in the day, saying the outlets spread false information. The move sparked immediate reports from all three news organisations about the loss of access. No other media outlets were mentioned as being affected in the statements released Saturday morning.
