Virginia Panel Reports Boys Falling Behind in School and Work Goals

A special panel in Virginia reports that boys in the state are falling behind girls in key school and job benchmarks. The study highlights growing concerns over academic performance and future career readiness among male students. Members of the panel discussed these troubling trends during recent meetings, pointing out that the gap between male and female students continues to widen across various districts. Educational experts on the panel are now urging schools to take a closer look at teaching methods and support systems to help male students catch up.
