Surveillance technology company Flock Safety has announced a severance package for employees who choose to leave the company voluntarily. The firm shared this plan through an internal announcement on Friday, as reported by Wired. Company leadership stated that without these voluntary departures, Flock would almost certainly need to reduce its staff through forced layoffs. Flock employs about 1,500 people and expects a large number of workers to show interest in the buyout offer. The company also indicated it plans to approve these exit packages for a majority of the staff who apply for them. Management described these financial terms as their most generous package yet.
