Trump plans to create AI force and appoint special adviser

New AI Plan

Donald Trump plans to create a new group called the AI Force and appoint a special adviser for artificial intelligence. He announced this move while also rejecting calls to put limits or safety rules on the fast-growing technology. Trump stated that he wants to protect the tech industry from strict rules and dismissed safety risks as a hoax.

Industry Reaction

People in the tech industry have reacted with confusion to the new proposal. They are currently trying to figure out what the AI Force will actually do and how the new adviser will work with existing policies. Trump has not yet provided full details about who will get the job or how the group will operate.
