Microsoft admits its free Windows 11 editor struggles to run

Microsoft has confirmed that its free Windows 11 editor, praised by many users, is surprisingly hard to run. The program is offered at no cost and works on devices running the Windows 11 operating system. Despite high ratings from early reviewers, users report that launching or using the editor often fails or runs very slowly. Microsoft’s statement acknowledges the performance issue but does not give a timeline for a fix. The company says it is investigating the problem and will release updates as soon as a solution is ready. Until then, users are advised to check system requirements and look for any available patches that might improve stability.
