Trailer of Drishyam The Conclusion has generated a massive buzz, with audiences calling the response fabulous and raising anticipation for the Ajay Devgn‑led film. Director Abhishek Pathak, who also co‑wrote and produced the sequel, said the teaser was unveiled on a grand stage in Goa, mirroring the 2022 Drishyam 2 launch but adding a tour of the actual shooting spots. He called the tour nostalgic, noting that the series was reaching its end and the Goa locations let fans relive the journey. While the first two Hindi versions stayed close to their Malayalam originals, Pathak revealed that he deliberately steered The Conclusion away after Drishyam 2. He spent two years writing the story, screenplay and dialogues, then presented it to the cast, including Devgn, who approved it. The film was initially titled Drishyam 3 during production, but the team renamed it Drishyam The Conclusion to signal that this will be the final chapter and to stop speculation about a fourth part. Pathak admitted he felt nervous directing Devgn, whom he has admired since childhood, but the actor put him at ease, a contrast to his experience on Drishyam 2. At the trailer event, Devgn expressed his wish that Malayalam star Mohanlal see the film; Mohanlal later called producer Kumar Mangat Pathak and Devgn, praised the trailer and promised a private screening when his schedule allows. Pathak also mentioned that his banner is shooting a horror film with Devgn, now in its second schedule in North India and slated for a 2027 release. He briefly commented on PVR Inox’s proposal to drop the Virtual Print Fee, calling the idea sensible, and laughed off rumors of a Pav Bhaji tie‑up, leaving it to the marketing team. The film is set to hit theatres on October 2.
