Union Home Minister Amit Shah hosted the core crew behind the biographical movie Hanuman Ansh at his official Delhi home on Thursday. The gathering featured discussions on traditional Indian values alongside the life and teachings of spiritual guide Neem Karoli Baba. The filmmaker who handled the writing and directing duties, alongside the lead producer of the project, updated the senior politician regarding their upcoming cinematic venture named RamBola, which explores the life of Goswami Tulsidas. During the interaction, the minister shared his views on cultural heritage and urged the creative team to keep bringing such stories to the big screen. This follows a previous visit where the movie's creators met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his Mumbai residence during the Ganesh Chaturthi festival to discuss the project's theatrical run. Based on the written work titled Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, the biographical project serves as the opening chapter of a planned three-part series. The plot is set in the era before India gained independence and traces the early life of a young man named Lakshmi Narayan. Following the passing of his mother, the protagonist departs from his home to find the divine, traveling widely across northern regions before his eventual spiritual transformation. The cast features actors Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand as the primary leads, supported by performers including Anil Rastogi, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel, and Neha Paranjpe.
