Film Screenings
A special screening of the Indian animated feature film Return of the Jungle will take place in Mysuru on October 24 and 25. The event is scheduled at the Indian Institute of Educational Theatre located in Hardwicke School on Jhansi Lakshmi Bai Road. Organizers stated that the film runs for 96 minutes and is a Hindi animated feature with English subtitles. It is inspired by Panchatantra fables and was directed by Vaibhav Kumaresh while being produced by Vaibhav Studios. The plot centers on a nine-year-old boy named Mihir and his friends who seek advice from their grandfather to deal with school issues and a bully.
Schedule and Entry
The screenings are set for 6 p.m. on October 24 and 11 a.m. on October 25. Admission is completely free for all attendees. Seating will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The movie previously ran successfully in theaters for nine weeks. Organizers noted that the project showcases modern Indian animation and blends humor, adventure, and traditional storytelling.
Context
Public screenings of acclaimed regional and national animated films help bring quality cinema directly to local audiences outside standard commercial theater runs. Such events often use free entry to encourage families, students, and educators to experience creative storytelling and support local art forms together.
