CRPF launches sports‑quota hiring for 521 posts, registration starts Oct 12

CRPF has opened online applications for 521 sports‑quota positions of Head Constable and Constable, with registration opening on 12 October 2026. Applications must be submitted at rect.crpf.gov.in. The registration window closes on 11 November 2026, and a correction period runs from 12 to 14 November 2026. To qualify for Head Constable, candidates need 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board or an Army qualification for ex‑servicemen. Constable candidates must have completed matriculation or its equivalent. Age limits are 18 to 23 years as of 1 August 2026; birth dates must fall between 2 January 2003 and 1 January 2008. Sports‑quota eligibility requires representation or medals in competitions listed under Para‑6(iii) between 30 September 2024 and 30 September 2026. The selection process includes identity check, document verification, Physical Standard Test, Sports Trial Test and a detailed medical examination. Male applicants in UR, OBC and EWS categories pay a fee of ₹100 for Head Constable (GD) and Constable (GD) posts; the fee is waived for females, SC, ST and ex‑servicemen.
