Shares of Tuni Textile Mills hit a five percent upper circuit on Wednesday, September 23, closing at one rupee and sixty-six paise apiece. The small-cap company has a market capitalisation of 103 crore rupees. The surge followed the announcement of three domestic purchase orders for woven shirting and finished fabrics. These orders were received during September 2026 and cover about 1.975 million metres of fabric. The aggregate base order value ranges from around 295.13 million rupees to 301.73 million rupees, excluding applicable GST. The orders include poly-cotton, higher-cotton-content, and other shirting and finished fabric specifications. Delivery timelines range between 60 and 120 days, with one order required to be completed by January 5, 2027. Payment terms generally range between 60 and 90 days. The company stated that the orders provide meaningful execution visibility and reflect continued customer demand. Its immediate priorities include disciplined production planning, quality consistency, timely delivery, and prudent working-capital management. The stock extended its gains for the sixth consecutive session, having previously hit a ten percent upper circuit between September 16 and September 21 before the exchange adjusted the limit to five percent. This winning streak pushed the stock's September returns to 106 percent, turning its performance positive for 2026 with gains of 25 percent.
