Prominent business leader Anand Mahindra shared photographs of Rishikesh on the social media platform X to highlight how much the town has changed over time. In his post made on 18 October, he noted that the city has transformed completely while expressing hope that it will manage to protect its core soul.

Memories And New Walkways

The shared images feature the Aastha Path built along the banks of the Ganga river, where large numbers of tourists and pilgrims now visit to walk and sightsee. Mahindra used the post to recall his own past days of making films in Rishikesh, mentioning that the famous Chotiwala Restaurant used to function like a canteen for him back then. He added that he has not returned in a long time and observed that numerous new walk-ways have come up in the area since his last visit.
