Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan Disposes of Bandra Flat for Over Four Crores

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has parted with a small residential unit in Mumbai for four crore and eleven lakh rupees. The flat covers a carpet area of seven hundred ninety-seven square feet and sits in the Bandra West neighborhood. Property registration data shows the deal includes two open parking spots. The buyers took charge of the home back in March two thousand twenty-four and paid a government tax of nearly twenty-four lakh and sixty-six thousand rupees on the paper-work. Both parties signed the main sale deed on October nineteenth of this year, though the initial sale pact was settled in March two thousand twenty-four.

Property History

Files from property data firms indicate the star originally acquired a much larger six-thousand-square-foot space across two upper floors in the same residential tower back in March two thousand seven for nine crore and seventy lakh rupees. Records show builders Hi-Con Constructions sold that large space originally. Years later in June two thousand fourteen, the owners split that large asset into three distinct flats. Those included a large unit of nearly three thousand square feet, another sized at twenty-two hundred and five square feet, and the smaller flat that just changed hands.

Commercial Deal

Aside from selling the Bandra property, the actor recently locked in a five-year rental contract for office spaces in Mumbai. He rented out two business units measuring nearly fifty-seven hundred square feet along Andheri Kurla Road to a firm named Durva Fintech Private Limited. This commercial lease brings in a monthly rent of twenty-two lakh and seventy-six thousand rupees. The agreement runs from May of this year until May two thousand thirty-one, with company director Vikaas Mohan Sachdeva signing as the renter while a legal attorney represented the star.

Other Homes

Beyond these deals, the celebrity holds multiple other properties across the city. He lives with his family in a spacious six-thousand-five-hundred-square-foot home in the Satguru Sharan building, which was bought in April two thousand twelve for twenty-three and a half crore rupees. Before moving there, he and his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan stayed at Fortune Heights in Bandra, where he also bought a smaller flat in two thousand sixteen.

Film Projects

On the professional front, the actor is reportedly teaming up again with Vidya Balan for a movie directed by Ritesh Batra. The two actors last worked together nearly two decades ago in the film Eklavya. French actress and director Mélanie Laurent is also said to be part of the cast for this project currently filming in Mumbai.
