Shane Gillis and Danny McBride star in a four-minute commercial for prediction market platform Kalshi.
Ad Details
McBride wrote the short film, which features Gillis as a struggling weatherman who fails to get forecasts right. McBride plays a rival meteorologist at a competing network who always gets the weather correct. The commercial also features Roy clad in a red and white robe with a pony, who tells McBride tomorrow will be 68 degrees with clouds and thunderstorms. Gillis then kidnaps Roy to steal his weather prophecies, but discovers Roy just uses Kalshi for his information. An abridged version of the ad will air during Game 1 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Milwaukee Brewers. Randy Krallman directed the commercial.
