The spy thriller movie Alpha, featuring lead actors Alia Bhatt and Sharvari, is scheduled for its television broadcast on the Sony MAX channel on October 31 at 8 PM. The plot centres on two women navigating a world of secret missions and espionage, with Alia Bhatt portraying a trained killer.

Reactions and Cast Comments

Lead actor Alia Bhatt shared her thoughts on the upcoming small-screen release, stating she is happy the movie will connect with people outside cinemas. She noted that festive holidays are an ideal time for household movie gatherings. Co-star Sharvari also shared her enthusiasm about the project moving to television, highlighting the hard work put into the action stunts and emotional scenes. Film critic Taran Adarsh offered an alternative view of the project earlier, describing the film as a visually appealing creation with a weak plot that let down its lead actors.

Context

Television broadcasts of theatrical films often follow several weeks or months after a movie finishes its run in cinema halls. This transition helps production houses reach a much larger public across households that missed seeing the project on the big screen.
