Tata Motors posted a standalone net profit of ₹2,138 crore for the September quarter, turning a loss from the same period last year into a profit. Revenue from operations rose to ₹23,930 crore, 42% higher than a year earlier. The company said higher fleet utilisation and stronger industrial activity lifted demand. Managing director Girish Wagh highlighted the improved utilisation as a key factor. On a consolidated basis, profit climbed to ₹1,257 crore, helped by a reduction in mark-to-market losses.
