Amberpet police have taken three men into custody for suspected theft of two-wheeled vehicles in the locality. The suspects are identified as 32‑year‑old Sai Kiran of Patel Nagar, 42‑year‑old Aravind Prasad from Amberpet and 53‑year‑old S. Murali of Rajendra Nagar in Medchal‑Malkajgiri district. The investigation began after a resident reported his Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle missing; he had parked it outside his home in New Patel Nagar on 12 October. The complaint prompted a case filing and a series of technical examinations and field inquiries that led to the trio. Police say the men are linked to a pattern of stealing motorcycles and scooters left in public and residential parking spots. They were also connected to a separate theft of a scooter reported under the jurisdiction of Uppal police station. The vehicles recovered or reported stolen include the Pulsar bike and a Honda Activa scooter. Senior officers supervised the arrests and the probe continues. Authorities have warned owners to fit extra locks and alarm devices, to avoid parking in dark or isolated corners, and to alert police about any suspicious activity near parking areas.

Context
