Package Details
Maruti Suzuki has introduced a new Aurum Edition accessories package for the Victoris midsize SUV, priced at 22,990 rupees. The launch marks the first anniversary of the Victoris in India and celebrates recent sales milestones. According to Maruti Suzuki senior executive officer for marketing and sales Partho Banerjee, the special kit recognises the model's sales achievements and brings styling updates for the festive season.
Features And Pricing
The Aurum Edition package is available exclusively for the strong-hybrid variants of the Victoris, which carry ex-showroom prices ranging from 16.43 lakh to 19.99 lakh rupees. The kit itself costs 22,990 rupees separately from the car. On the outside, it brings copper-coloured inserts for the front, side, and rear skid plates, along with the wheel arches. Additional chrome elements appear on the front grille, fenders, bumpers, body-side mouldings, and door visors. Inside the cabin, the kit adds all-weather 3D floor mats, a 3D boot mat, and a rear trunk sill guard. The package focuses purely on cosmetic and protection upgrades, leaving the mechanical setup unchanged.
Powertrain And Sales
Under the bonnet, the Victoris hybrid pairs a 1.5-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine with an electric motor and a small battery pack. The system puts out a net 116 horsepower, sent to the front wheels via an e-CVT automatic transmission, with an ARAI mileage rating of 28.65 kilometres per litre. Sales data shows the SUV crossed 1.47 lakh units between September 2025 and September 2026, and surpassed the 1.5 lakh unit milestone with October sales. Actor Shahid Kapoor serves as the face of the promotional campaign for this new edition.
Context
Special edition accessories packages are a common way for automakers to refresh existing models during the festive shopping season without making costly mechanical changes. Strong-hybrid vehicles combine fuel-saving electric motors with traditional petrol engines to deliver high mileage figures compared to regular petrol cars. Maruti Suzuki remains the largest passenger car manufacturer in the Indian market, where midsize SUVs are currently among the most competitive vehicle segments.
