New Video Evidence

New security camera footage has emerged showing Lucknow businessman Shiva Sharma alongside the main suspect, Shraddha Dubey, before his death. The video, which comes from Awadh Green Apartment, also features Shraddha's sister, Rashmi. The recording shows the trio moving down a stairwell inside the residential building, with Rashmi leading the way while Sharma and Shraddha walk close behind.

Resident Allegations

Flat owner Ajay Rai has shared claims regarding Shraddha's conduct and raised doubts about the events of that day. Rai stated that Shraddha displayed an aggressive nature and used abusive language during a past dispute over the installation of security cameras in the building. According to Rai, she opposed the cameras and argued with him before heading back to her flat. Rai also noted that nobody typically used the stairs that day, as residents usually took the lift. He alleged that Shraddha was well aware of where the security cameras pointed, noting that the rear side of one camera faced the area where Sharma reportedly fell, leaving that specific spot out of view.

Police Investigation

Police plan to recreate the crime scene with forensic experts to determine whether Sharma died by suicide or was murdered. Prior to her arrest, Shraddha posted videos online claiming Sharma took his own life, while Sharma's mother has filed a formal police complaint alleging murder. To test these theories, forensic teams will drop a dummy matching Sharma's weight and build from the fourth floor. Experts will measure the fall's trajectory, landing distance, and angle under different conditions, including an independent fall, a push, or being thrown. They will then compare the resulting injury patterns against the findings in Sharma's post-mortem report.

Context

Security footage and forensic crime scene reconstructions are standard investigative tools used by police to test conflicting witness statements and physical evidence in suspicious death cases. In situations where suspects claim suicide while family members allege murder, investigators rely on technical data like camera angles and dummy drop tests to check if physical laws match either version of events.
