Russia's Defence Ministry said its forces struck Ukrainian military-linked sites and vessels across the country on the night of September 23-24, 2026. The ministry listed Kyiv-based factories that make drones and drone parts as one target. Two telecom centres that serve the Ukrainian army were also hit, the statement added. At the Black Sea port of Odesa, logistics hubs were bombed, and an oil tanker heading for Chornomorsk was attacked. Later in the day, Russian units hit an unnamed logistics centre in Odesa, a drone storage warehouse in the town of Novi Biliari, and a cargo ship bound for Odesa. Reuters was unable to verify any of the claims independently. A photograph shows a woman walking past a house shattered by a Russian strike in a Kyiv neighbourhood on the same day. The ministry did not give casualty numbers or damage estimates for the recent attacks. No Ukrainian officials responded in the article. The strikes form part of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict that has seen regular air and missile attacks on infrastructure since 2022. The reported targets suggest a focus on Ukraine's drone production capability and maritime supply routes.
