Azamgarh Farmers to Get 24th PM Kisan Installment on October 30

24th Installment Release

Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi's 24th installment will be sent to the bank accounts of farmers on October 30. In Azamgarh district, a total of six lakh 48 thousand 752 farmers will get the benefit this time. Each farmer will receive two thousand rupees directly in their account. The total money coming to the district for this installment is 129 crore 75 lakh rupees. For comparison, the 23rd installment was sent to six lakh 31 thousand 937 farmers.

Newly Added Farmers

This time, 16 thousand 815 farmers who missed out earlier due to incomplete e-KYC or other reasons will also get the money. These farmers fixed their pending issues and applied on time, and their applications were accepted. According to Ashish Kumar, the Deputy Director of Agriculture, these farmers completed their e-KYC and other checks. Farmers generally use this money to buy seeds and fertilizers for farming work.

Context

Under the central government scheme, registered farmers receive six thousand rupees every year in three equal installments of two thousand rupees each. The timing helps farmers prepare for seasonal sowing and buy necessary agricultural items. Beneficiaries are advised to ensure their e-KYC, bank account Aadhaar seeding, and land records are properly verified to avoid any payment delays.
