A woman travelling on the Namma Metro caught a male passenger recording her without permission at the Whitefield-Kadugodi Metro Station on Tuesday. The incident led to a confrontation where the woman took the man's phone and demanded to see the footage before handing it to security personnel. During the encounter, the accused pretended to show her the recording, snatched the device back, and ran away from the spot. The woman subsequently filed a formal complaint with Metro station authorities and posted a video on social media to demand legal action. The uploaded video captures the man apologising as she walks towards the Metro office, alongside footage of male and female security guards present during the argument. Metro officials stated that they received the complaint and that staff members are checking details to identify the man. Meanwhile, Bengaluru City police confirmed on social media that they took note of the online post and registered an FIR in the case.
