Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra Criticizes IndiGo After Baggage Left Behind in Delhi

Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra faced travel trouble after IndiGo left his luggage behind in Delhi while he traveled to Dharamshala. The National Award-winning director posted about the incident on X on October 28, stating that the missing bag held his medicines and daily essentials. Mishra learned about the missing bag only after landing in Dharamshala. Airline staff later told him the bag would travel through Chandigarh and reach him by evening. He described the situation as extremely disappointing and frustrating on social media.

Airline Response

IndiGo replied to his post on X to say sorry for the trouble caused. The airline stated that they arranged for priority delivery of his luggage.

Context

Airlines occasionally fail to load passenger baggage onto flights or route bags incorrectly during connections, which requires them to forward missing items on later flights. Such travel delays cause extra problems when passengers lose access to critical personal items like daily medications.
