Aeroflex Industries shares rose 14 percent in morning trade on the BSE on Thursday, October 29, backed by an eight-fold jump in trading volume. The stock opened at 533.30 rupees against its previous close of 491.65 rupees and reached an intraday high of 559 rupees, heading toward its third straight session of gains. This buying interest followed the release of the company's September quarter results.
Financial Growth and Corporate Updates
In an exchange filing on October 28, the company reported an 87 percent year-on-year surge in consolidated revenue from operations to 207.36 crore rupees, compared to 110.87 crore rupees in the same quarter last year. Net profit jumped 157 percent year-on-year to 36.56 crore rupees from 14.23 crore rupees. Alongside the financial results, the board gave in-principle approval to merge its wholly owned subsidiary, Hyd-Air Engineering Private Limited, with the company. The board also approved the appointment of Drashti Bhil as Chief Financial Officer and key managerial personnel for three years, starting November 28, 2026.
Market Performance and Analyst Views
Aeroflex Industries has delivered multibagger returns of 185 percent year-to-date in 2026, and 195 percent over the last year, touching a 52-week high of 613.50 rupees on October 14 and a low of 157.85 rupees on January 23. Aditya Thukral, founder and analyst at AT Research and Risk Managers, noted that while short-term momentum is positive, the risk-reward is unfavorable for fresh buying near all-time highs and suggested the stock needs to form a base. Conversely, Vipin Kumar, AVP-Research at Globe Capital Market, pointed to strong bullish momentum and recommended holding existing positions while accumulating fresh stock on dips around the 520 to 500 rupee zone with a target of 650 rupees.
Context
Stock prices often react strongly to corporate earnings reports that show sharp increases in revenue and net profit over the previous year. Company mergers and changes in key leadership roles like the chief financial officer can also influence market sentiment during trading sessions. Share prices fluctuate based on varying technical assessments from financial analysts regarding entry points and risk levels.
