JB Perrette has announced his new executive leadership structure for Skydance TV and Skydance Direct-to-Consumer following the merger of Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance.

Departures and Structure

Seven executives are leaving the combined company as part of the reorganization. The departing leaders from the Warner Bros. Discovery side are Dan Barnes, Michael Bishara, Jamie Cooke, and Juan Sola. Those exiting from the Paramount side are Domenic DiMeglio, Marco Nobili, and Pank Patel. Perrette thanked all departing executives in an internal memo for their service and contributions to their respective companies.

Leadership Appointments

Perrette's direct reports include previously announced team members Jay Askanasi, Ray Hopkins, and David Decker. Additional direct reports on the global team include Jeff Cusson, Shauna Spenley, Trey Turner, Josh Walker, and Liz Wright. A new head for Pluto and AVOD will be announced at a later date.

Regional Teams

Regional and local operations will be led by Andrew Georgiou for Europe and Africa, James Gibbons for Asia-Pacific and Middle East-North Africa, Kasia Kieli for Poland, and Fernando Medin for Latin America and U.S. Hispanic. Leah Hooper will return from maternity leave in January as Regional Streaming Lead for Europe. Ronald Goes is moving to Skydance TV Studios under Channing, while Efrain Miron is stepping away from the DTC organization to explore other roles within the company.

Context

Large media mergers frequently result in leadership restructuring and executive departures as companies combine overlapping divisions. JB Perrette previously served as CEO and president of global streaming and games for Warner Bros. Discovery before taking on his current co-chair and chief business officer roles at Skydance.
