Juhu police say a woman rammed her car into multiple vehicles and attempted to run over on‑duty officers at a traffic signal on Friday night. The clash unfolded near the Sangeet Bharati Chowk signal in Juhu at about 8.30 p.m. on October 30, 2026. The driver first hit a stationary car, then knocked down a scooter, a motorcycle and another car as she sped away. Police allege she steered the vehicle toward the police personnel stationed at the junction.
What Happened
A female police officer tried to stop her and asked her to halt while she was recording the scene. The woman pulled out her mobile phone, filmed the officers and caused a ruckus. A constable later ordered her to move the car to the side to ease the traffic jam. Several by‑standers captured the entire episode on their phones.
Context
Rash driving and assault on police are punishable under Indian law, and incidents in busy suburbs like Juhu draw swift police action. Cases are often registered after a complaint from the affected vehicle owner, and investigations continue to determine further legal steps.
