Actor R Madhavan to star in a new horror film directed by Vishal Furia

Actor R Madhavan is heading back to the horror genre for a new feature film directed by Vishal Furia. Madhavan previously starred in the scary movies 13B and Shaitaan, while Furia has directed other horror projects like Lapachhapi, the Chhorii series, and Maa. Madhavan also made a surprise guest appearance in Furia's recent movie Maa. The new project is the first time the two are working together on a full-length feature film in these roles. Director Vishal Furia stated that Madhavan was his only choice for the lead part, praising his deep understanding of scary films and calling him a true star of the genre. Furia also noted that Madhavan brings extra value because of his background as a writer, director, and producer, and they aim to deliver a unique scary experience for moviegoers. The upcoming film is backed by producer Rohit Ranjan under his company Frostlit Production Limited. The makers have not yet shared the movie's title, other actors in the cast, or when it will hit theatres.
