Himesh Reshammiya ready to launch international English album with 15 original tracks

Singer and composer Himesh Reshammiya has revealed that he has written, sung, and composed 15 songs in English for a new international album. He shared the news during a conversation with Komal Nahta, adding that the tracks do not sound wannabe at all. He is waiting to finish his prior work with films before launching the project on a grand scale.

Global Plans

Reshammiya plans to release the album globally in the same big way he started his singing career in India. The first single will launch worldwide to target fans of English music, following his entry into Bloomberg's list of top pop stars of the world. He compared the new project to his 2005 hit song Aashiq Banaya Aapne, noting that it features a romantic connection and will surprise listeners just like his voice did back then.

Dream Collaboration

When asked about working with an international singer, Reshammiya stated that he has one specific song from the album that is right for a collaboration with Rihanna if the chance ever comes up.

Context

Artists often branch out into international markets and cross-language projects to reach wider global audiences and connect with new listeners outside their home country. Major music releases typically involve rolling out lead singles ahead of a full album launch to build interest among fans.
