Rana Daggubati Announces New Hindi Horror Film Starring Kangana Ranaut

Actor-producer Rana Daggubati surprised audiences at HorrorCon India 2026 in New Delhi by announcing a new horror film titled Scary Picture. The project will be directed by Telugu filmmaker Ravi Babu, who is known for his offbeat and experimental work.

Kangana Ranaut will star in the lead role and made the news official on her Instagram account on Sunday. The film marks Ravi Babu's first Hindi feature project. Ravi is the son of the late veteran Telugu actor Chalapathi Rao and has worked in the film industry as an actor since 1998 and a director since 2002. His past directorial works include the 2023 piglet-protagonist film Adhugo and Razor this year. Meanwhile, Kangana is currently active as both an actor and the Member of Parliament for Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, representing the Bharatiya Janata Party.
