Reported by one source so far
Utssav CZ Gold Jewels will issue one bonus share for every existing share held by investors after the company board cleared the proposal on 23 October. The plan will add 2.5 crore new shares and push the total outstanding equity to 5 crore shares.
Financial Changes
The company will fund this issue by using its retained earnings, free reserves and securities premium from 31 March 2026. This move will double the paid-up equity share capital to nearly 50 crore rupees. The board also plans to raise the authorised share capital to 60 crore rupees to allow room for this expanded equity.
Market Performance
Eligible investors should receive the credited shares within 60 days of board approval, though the company has not yet set a record date. On the stock market, shares closed 2.21 percent lower at 930 rupees on the NSE on 30 October. The stock has still delivered strong gains over the year, rising over 317 percent year-to-date despite a recent weekly dip of 8.31 percent.
Analyst View
Rajesh Bhosale, a technical analyst at My Advisor Alpha, noted that the stock stays in a strong uptrend overall. He pointed out that recent technical pullbacks brought the stock down from overbought levels, and he marked the 870 to 880 rupee range as an immediate support zone.
Context
Bonus shares are free additional shares given to existing shareholders in proportion to what they already own. While this increases the total number of shares an investor holds, the total value of their investment and their ownership share in the company generally stays the same right after the issue.
