Ram Charan and director Sukumar launch their new film RC 17

Director Sukumar and actor Ram Charan are working together again for a new film temporarily called RC 17, eight years after their hit movie Rangasthalam. The project officially started with a puja ceremony in Hyderabad on Sunday. Actor Chiranjeevi gave the first clap at the event to begin filming.

Several key members of the team attended the launch event in Hyderabad, including Sukumar, Ram Charan, and cinematographer R Rathnavelu. Three companies are producing the film: Mythri Movie Makers, T-Series, and the director's own company, Sukumar Writings. Before the official launch, the director's wife, Tabitha, shared a video on Instagram to praise his hard work and long hours of writing for the project.
