Honda is launching the updated Elevate SUV in India on October 6, 2026, marking the model's global debut market. Pre-bookings are now open at authorized dealerships for an advance payment of Rs 21,000.
Exterior Updates
At the front, three horizontal illuminated segments run between the slim LED daytime running lights across the width of the SUV. The grille features a new geometric pattern, and the Honda logo has moved up onto the bonnet to keep the central lighting bar clear. The rear features red illuminated strips that stretch across the tailgate to connect the outer tail lamps, along with dark surrounding trim and parallel horizontal details for a wider look.
Interior and Features
Inside, the faux-wood dashboard trim from the current model is replaced by light-colored, stitched leatherette-style upholstery. This soft-touch material extends to the door panels, accompanied by orange ambient lighting running beneath the dashboard and along the doors. Teasers also show a potential camera-based digital interior rear-view mirror, though Honda has not yet confirmed this.
Performance and Engine
The facelifted SUV is expected to keep its existing 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine. This motor outputs 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque, and pairs with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission.
Context
Automakers frequently refresh their popular models with cosmetic upgrades and cabin enhancements to keep them competitive in the fast-growing midsize SUV market. India serves as a key production and launch hub for models like the Elevate due to high domestic demand for compact utility vehicles.
