Honda Cars India has opened pre‑launch bookings for the refreshed Elevate SUV, asking a Rs 21,000 deposit at authorised dealers. The model is set to hit showrooms on October 6, 2026, making India the first market to receive the update. A teaser released by the company shows a re‑worked front face featuring three horizontal light strips sandwiched between slim LED daytime running lights, giving the grille a broader appearance. The vehicle keeps its upright silhouette, sculpted hood and roof rails, while sharp bumper accents and a lower panel coated in metallic silver add a tougher feel. Fog‑lamp units are visible at the outer corners, and most of the grille and bumper remain covered in shadow pending the full reveal. Honda says the facelift will bring several customer‑requested upgrades, bolder styling cues and a more premium cabin. Kunal Behl, vice‑president of marketing and sales at Honda Cars India, noted the Elevate is praised for its design, road presence, driving experience, safety, space and comfort, and that the new version will build on those strengths. Inside, buyers can expect higher‑grade upholstery, upgraded trim and extra convenience gadgets, although exact specifications will be disclosed at launch. Powertrain remains unchanged: a 1.5‑litre i‑VTEC petrol engine delivering 121 PS and 145 Nm, paired with either a six‑speed manual or a CVT. Current Elevate prices range from Rs 11.91 lakh to Rs 17.07 lakh ex‑showroom; the facelift pricing will be announced on launch day. The refreshed model will continue to compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder, and will also face the soon‑to‑launch Hyundai Bayon.
