Medical Update

Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha has sustained a broken spine following an accident during a combined work and vacation trip in Bali. She is currently admitted to a hospital abroad and stays under close medical supervision. Her representatives have confirmed that doctors are evaluating her condition before she undergoes a surgical procedure.

Return And Recovery

The actor's team stated that her health is the top priority right now. Plans are underway to transport her home to Mumbai using an air ambulance so she can have the operation done locally. Because of the serious nature of the injury and the upcoming surgery, she will need a long period of rest. This recovery time is expected to disrupt her professional schedule for the coming weeks, while her publicist has asked fans and well-wishers to respect her privacy.

New Film Project

Before this accident, Nushrratt had joined the cast of an upcoming action movie directed by Remo D'Souza. The film features Tiger Shroff in the lead role, marking the first time the two actors share the screen. Other cast members attached to the project include Pashmina Roshan, Abhishek Banerjee, and Elvish Yadav. A production source told Pinkvilla that the filmmakers wanted someone who could bring both strength and emotional depth to the part.

Context

Unexpected medical emergencies often force film actors to pause their active shooting schedules, requiring production houses to rearrange call sheets and dates. Air ambulances are specialized aircraft equipped with medical gear and personnel to safely transport patients over long distances when regular commercial flights are not medically safe. Such incidents highlight the demanding travel schedules that modern film stars often maintain alongside their active movie shoots.
