K-Pop Star T.O.P and Actor Nana Confirm Five-Month Romance

Former BIGBANG member T.O.P and actor Nana are in a five-month relationship, with both stars' agencies confirming the romance. The couple met in January when T.O.P personally invited Nana to star as the female lead in the music video for Studio54, the title track of his solo album Another Dimension released in April.

Development

While the two remained professional during the initial video shoot and promotional content in April, they grew closer by speaking more often and started dating around June. Dispatch reported the relationship after spotting them on low-key dates around Achiul Village in Guri near Nana's home. A source noted that their shared experiences in the entertainment industry, including their debuts, artistic careers, rumors, and heartbreak, helped them understand each other well.

Reactions and Background

Nana spoke to fans on Bubble on October 2, acknowledging that the news might surprise them and writing that she is a bit embarrassed while adding that they will meet nicely and healthily. T.O.P, 38, debuted with BIGBANG in 2006, suspended his activities in 2017 after a marijuana case, and returned to screens in December 2024 in Netflix's Squid Game Season 2 while also touring Asia with T.O.P Pre-Studio 2026. Nana, 34, debuted in 2009 with After School, transitioned to acting in 2016, and currently stars in Netflix's The Scandal alongside Son Ye Jin and Ji Chang Wook.

Context

Celebrity relationships in the South Korean entertainment industry are closely managed by talent agencies, which typically issue swift formal confirmations once media outlets release spot reports and photographic evidence. Public figures in this industry often connect over the unique pressures and shared milestones of long-running careers in music and television.
