Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in September 2026 by reaching a total of 7,06,266 units. This marks a growth of 24.31% compared to 5,68,164 units sold in September 2025.

Domestic And Export Growth

Domestic sales went up to 6,36,768 units from 5,05,693 units a year earlier, showing a rise of 25.92%. Exports also reached a new high at 69,498 units, which is an increase of 11.25% over the previous year. For the July to September quarter, total sales touched 18,28,362 units, while half-yearly sales from April to September crossed 34.40 million units.

New Product Push

These record numbers follow recent launches like the updated CB350 range, the new CB500, Rebel 300, ADV160, and the QC3 electric scooter. Future additions such as the XR300 and locally built Rebel 500 aim to expand the company presence beyond standard commuter models, though deliveries for the ADV160 now stretch into 2027.

Context

Major vehicle makers in India often see strong festive and seasonal demand spikes during this period of the year. Expanding product lineups into electric and mid-size motorcycle segments helps brands capture a larger share of buyers looking for upgrades.
