Representative image · PexelsSocial media creator Nazma Shaikh has clarified that actor Rajpal Yadav was not asked to leave the prayer meet of the late actor Mushtaq Khan, despite claims made in viral online videos.
The Clarification
Nazma stated that her anger in the video was directed at individuals who were taking pictures during the funeral instead of respecting the solemn atmosphere. She explained that Rajpal Yadav was very close to Mushtaq Khan, considered him like an elder brother, and spent time with him two hours before his death. Rajpal Yadav was also present at the graveyard and the prayer meet.
Funeral Details
Mushtaq Khan passed away on September 24 at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after his health deteriorated due to a rapid cancer progression, according to his son Mohsin Khan. His last rites took place in Mumbai on September 25, drawing several film industry members including Sanjay Mishra, Manish Wadhwa, Shehzad Khan, Zaid Darbar, Sunil Pal, and filmmaker Anees Bazmee.
Context
Social media videos from public events and celebrity gatherings can sometimes be misunderstood when viewed without full context or background information. Funeral gatherings often draw media and public attention, which can lead to friction regarding privacy and respectful behavior during times of mourning.
