R Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran Join Akshay Kumar in Sajid Khan Comedy

Actors R Madhavan, Disha Patani and Shriya Saran have joined the cast of an upcoming untitled comedy film led by Akshay Kumar and directed by Sajid Khan. Ektaa R Kapoor is producing the project, which will bring together a fresh group of lead actors.

Cast Roles

Madhavan and Akshay Kumar are teaming up again after working together as rivals in the 2025 courtroom drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh. Disha Patani and Shriya Saran have also signed on to play the romantic leads in the movie. The story revolves around middle-aged men and follows a comedy-of-errors format.

Production Plans

The makers have planned an extensive production schedule on a large scale. Filming is expected to start in London by the end of 2026 or early 2027 in a start-to-finish format. Akshay Kumar will begin work on this project after finishing Kanishk Varma's alien survival thriller, Samuk. Director Sajid Khan will also finish another project titled Hero Ki Horrorine, starring Yashvardhan Ahuja and Nitanshi Goel, before starting this film.

This project brings back the team of Akshay Kumar and Sajid Khan, who previously worked together on Heyy Babyy, Housefull and Housefull 2.
