Following a busy September of fundraising, the primary market will move from fresh issues to market debuts for 29 companies this week, with one exception in RK Fashion Accessories opening for subscription next week. Grey market signals show a mix of strong premiums and flat listings across the board.

Leading Debuts

Vans Electroengineerings leads the pack with a grey market premium of Rs 70, pointing to a potential 59.32 percent gain over its issue price of Rs 118, backed by a subscription rate of 628.73 times. Black Opal Consultants trades at a grey market premium of Rs 95, or 48.22 percent, over its Rs 197 issue price after being subscribed 73.8 times. EverestIMS Technologies shows a premium of Rs 40, indicating a 47.06 percent gain over an issue price of Rs 85, while Orient Cables carries a Rs 115 premium, or 42.28 percent, over a Rs 272 issue price with a subscription of 97.28 times.

Moderate and Flat Listings

SRIT India shows a Rs 52 premium for a 40 percent gain over its Rs 130 issue price. Bench Mark Infotech Services trades at a Rs 25 premium over its Rs 110 issue price. Several other firms show smaller gains, including Acme Universal Safezone 9, Acme India Industries, and Sai Urja Indo. Meanwhile, companies such as Paramount Syntex, Dove Soft, and Eventions show no grey market premium ahead of their debuts despite varying subscription levels.

Context

Grey market premiums reflect unofficial market sentiment before a stock officially lists on stock exchanges, though they do not guarantee actual listing day performance. High subscription rates often indicate strong investor interest during the initial public offering phase.
