Arijit Singh Announces Massive Nine-City Stadium Tour Across India for 2027

Popular playback singer Arijit Singh has announced a nine-city stadium tour across India, scheduled to run from January to May 2027. The large-scale tour marks his first major series of live performances in the country since he stated in January earlier this year that he would stop taking on new playback assignments to focus on solo artistic work. The upcoming concerts celebrate his two decades in the music industry.

Tour Details

The tour will travel to Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Pune, Indore and Hyderabad. It is produced and promoted by Team Innovation, presented by Kotal Solitaire, and ticketed exclusively on the platform thumpN. Mohit Bijlani, the founder of Team Innovation, stated that the production is designed to world-class standards for an unprecedented live event.

Stage Setup

Concert venues will feature a custom multi-tiered stage with an extended runway designed to take the artist closer to the audience. The immersive production setup includes 360-degree spatial audio, kinetic LED fixtures, panoramic screens, laser arrays and stadium-scale pyrotechnics.

Background

Singh rose to prominence after participating in the reality show Fame Gurukul in 2005. Over the last decade, he has delivered numerous chartbusters including "Tum Hi Ho", "Agar Tum Saath Ho", "Gerua", "Channa Mereya", "Kesariya" and "Jhoome Jo Pathaan". Despite his earlier retirement announcement regarding new playback work, several of his recorded songs have continued releasing in films due to prior commitments.

Context

Major stadium tours by top music artists typically involve complex logistical planning and high-tech stage designs to accommodate massive crowds across multiple cities. Live concert series of this scale serve as a major driver for the live entertainment industry in India, bringing large audiences together for large-scale musical productions.
