CBSE Expected to Release Class 10 and 12 Exam Dates Soon

Students across the country are waiting for the Central Board of Secondary Education to publish the exam schedule for Class 10 and Class 12. The board has not shared a specific launch date yet and has not given any reason for the delay in the timetable.

Details and Corrections

Once the schedule goes live on the main portal, students can view the exam dates, times, subject codes, and important instructions for test days. Meanwhile, the board has opened a correction window for school authorities to fix student details on the portal until November 7. Parents and students cannot make these changes themselves, meaning schools must handle all corrections.

Exam Pattern and Preparation

Based on previous years, the board exams will likely take place between February and March using traditional pen-and-paper tests at various centres in India and abroad. Last year, the board shared a tentative schedule on September 24 and the final timetable on October 30. Students can already download sample papers and marking schemes from the board's academic portal to practice for the tests.

Context

Board examinations are a major yearly milestone for millions of school students in India, requiring months of academic preparation. Releasing the timetable early helps students plan their study schedules and revision strategies effectively.
