Aurobindo Pharma posted a consolidated net profit of ₹1,124 crore for the quarter ended September, a 32.5% rise year‑on‑year. Revenue rose 24% to a record ₹10,263 crore, the highest quarterly total ever reported by the firm. The board approved an interim dividend of ₹7 per share. On a sequential basis, profit fell short of the ₹1,032 crore earned in the June quarter and revenue slipped below the ₹9,150 crore recorded then. Vice‑Chairman and Managing Director K. Nithyananda Reddy said the results reflect strong fundamentals, steady execution and a resilient, diversified product mix. He added that organic growth and the integration of recent acquisitions are boosting the company’s future positioning. U.S. sales grew 25% year‑on‑year to ₹4,555 crore, while European revenue jumped 27% to ₹3,161 crore. Growth‑market earnings rose 16% to ₹1,026 crore. Total formulations revenue reached ₹9,102 crore, up from ₹7,325 crore a year earlier. API revenue increased to ₹1,162 crore from ₹961 crore last year. ## Context The surge in overseas sales underscores Aurobindo Pharma’s expanding footprint in regulated markets, a trend that helps offset slower growth in domestic segments.
