Kareena and Saif Return for Koffee with Karan Season Nine

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan made a landmark appearance on the final season of the chat show Koffee with Karan. Host Karan Johar noted that Kareena holds the record of being the only celebrity to appear as a guest on every single season of the show. After her, that record is shared by Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor.

The Couple's History

Saif and Kareena are the only couple to be repeated together on the couch, with their first joint appearance happening 16 years ago on season three. Kareena previously appeared with Shahid Kapoor in 2007, and later appeared pregnant on season five in 2016 alongside Sonam Kapoor. During the Rapid Fire round, Kareena admitted she regrets turning down Karan Johar's 2003 rom-com Kal Ho Naa Ho because she demanded pay equal to Shah Rukh Khan. Karan also revealed that Saif was very bummed when she rejected the film.

Candid Confessions

When asked about the better actor between her and Rani Mukerji, Kareena jokingly admitted she acts in bad films. Saif noted during the show that Kareena is her own favorite, a philosophy she channels alongside her iconic film roles like Poo from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and her recent work in The Buckingham Murders. The couple also opened up about a knife attack at their Mumbai residence last year, recalling that they narrowly avoided a much worse tragedy. They struggled during the celebrity-calling segment due to their limited social life, highlighting how their priorities have shifted over the years.
