Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and Trisha attend Chennai wedding reception

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actor Vijay, along with actress Trisha Krishnan, attended a high-profile wedding reception in Chennai on Thursday. The event was held for the daughter of YS Anil Reddy, who is the cousin of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP supremo YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Attendees And Appearance

Vijay's mother, Shobha Chandrashekhar, also accompanied the actors to the celebration. Videos from the event show Vijay wearing a brown suit while Trisha wore a pink saree as they walked toward the stage to greet the newlyweds. Vijay interacted with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and posed for photographs with him and the couple. BRS working president KT Rama Rao and his wife, Shailima, were among the other prominent political figures present at the ceremony.

Past Appearances And Background

Vijay and Trisha previously attended another wedding reception in Chennai in March for producer Kalpathi S Suresh and Meenakshi Suresh's son. That appearance followed shortly after Vijay's wife, Sangeetha, filed for divorce. Although that divorce petition was later withdrawn, the two public figures continue to make joint appearances, including a trip to the United Kingdom in September where Vijay served as the guest of honour and waved the green flag at actor Ajith Kumar's Michelin Le Mans Cup race at the Silverstone Circuit.

Context

Public figures attending high-profile family events often draw widespread media attention, particularly when personal lives are a subject of public discussion. Speculation regarding Vijay and Trisha has circulated since divorce proceedings were initially filed, though both maintain a visible presence at major public and political events across the country.
