Expert Reactions

Dr. Ravi Singh, Chief Research Officer at Master Capital Services, stated that Orient Cables' strong listing reflects its position in networking cables and passive networking equipment, and advised investors to monitor revenue growth, order execution, EBITDA margins, capacity utilisation, and operating cash flow. For Runwal Enterprises, he noted that the flat debut highlighted a subdued response despite strong fundamentals, and stated that consistent execution will be key for a re-rating. Regarding German Green Steel and Power, he pointed to the need to sustain revenue and profit growth and utilise manufacturing capacity effectively. For AceVector, he warned that the weak listing could keep near-term sentiment under pressure while fresh participation awaits price stability.

Context

Stock market listings determine the initial public trading price of a company's shares based on investor demand during its initial public offering. When a stock lists at a high premium, it raises valuation expectations that the company must meet through future earnings growth. Post-listing price drops often happen when early investors choose to book profits or when high valuations prompt selling pressure.
