HealthFour Everyday Foods Fitness Coach Recommends for Leaner and Stronger Health

Online nutrition advice can feel overwhelming, but Chennai-based fitness coach Raj Ganpath recommends four specific foods to include in your daily diet to build strength and get leaner.

The Four Foods

Raj Ganpath, who has over 18 years of experience and is the founder of the Slow Burn Method, highlights green leafy vegetables as the first essential food. Even without a leafy green on hand, he suggests eating some form of green vegetable every day because they are low in calories and high in fibre, vitamins A, C, E, and K, and various minerals. The second item is milk or yoghurt, which provides calcium, protein, and crucial vitamins B12 and B2, especially for vegetarians. The third category is high-protein, low-fat foods such as meats, seafood, eggs, low-fat paneer, or protein powder, which should be included during at least one meal and ideally every meal to meet daily protein needs. Finally, the fourth food group consists of lentils, legumes, and beans, which are moderately high in protein, very high in fibre, and extremely satiating for everyday meals.

Context

Dietary advice on social media often creates confusion by telling people what to cut out rather than focusing on simple, sustainable nutrition basics. Incorporating staple food groups like dairy, greens, lean proteins, and legumes provides an accessible way to maintain a balanced diet over the long term.
